  • Material properties 

    • Temperature resistance: Long-term temperature range of -20 to 120℃. Short-term at 140℃, the material will not deform and will not crack at low temperatures. 

    • Corrosion resistance: pH 2 - 12. Resistant to strong acids, strong alkalis, salt spray, and chemical solvents; Vinyl FRP is suitable for strong corrosive environments. 

    • Mechanics: Fiberglass reinforced, resistant to pressure, water flow impact, and does not collapse when stacked. The strength is three times that of PVC. 

    • Heat exchange hydrophilic: The formed corrugated water film is uniform, with a specific surface area of 220 to 300 m³/m³, a porosity of 91% to 94%, and moderate air resistance. 

    • Flame retardant and anti-aging: Oxygen index ≥ 32 (B1 level flame retardant); With the addition of UV additives, the lifespan is 8-10 years indoors and 6-8 years outdoors. 

    • Shortcomings: The weight is greater than that of plastic fillers, and the procurement cost is higher.

    Standard specifications (complying with GB/T 7190 and DL/T 742)

    1. FRP corrugated packing (S-wave/triangular slant wave)

    • Standard module: 500×1000/1200/1500mm, module height 500mm

    • The plate thickness is 1.5 to 3 mm, the wave height is 32 mm, and the plate spacing is 32 to 35 mm

    2. FRP Hexagonal Honeycomb Packing

    • Standard block: 500×500, 1000×1000mm; aperture 25/35/50mm, wall thickness 2~3mm

    3. General Parameters

    • Dimensional tolerance ±10mm; Oxygen index ≥30; Overall stacking load ≥0.5MPa

    Production Process Description

    • Ingredients: Unsaturated polyester/vinyl resin + alkali-free fiberglass mat + flame retardant, hydrophilic, UV-resistant additives

    • Process: Raw material impregnation and mixing → High-temperature mold forming (corrugated/honeycomb) → Constant-temperature curing → Edge trimming and polishing → Hydrophilic surface treatment → Module bonding → Finished product inspection and packaging

    • Technical Advantage: One-piece molding without delamination, long-term hot water resistance without hydrolysis, stable structure

    Structural Description

    • S-shaped corrugated packing (counterflow tower): Interlaced concave-convex flow channels for thorough countercurrent contact between water and gas; self-supporting ribs at the base, modular assembly

    • Hexagonal honeycomb packing (compact high-temperature tower): Vertically connected hexagonal holes, large heat exchange area, small footprint

    • Complement: Matching FRP corrosion-resistant brackets, FRP water collection devices, and a unified full-tower corrosion-resistant system

    Installation Instructions

    • Early stage: Clean the support beams inside the tower, level the FRP brackets, and remove oil stains and debris

    • Prefabrication: Ground adhesive filling module, let it stand and cure for 24 hours before lifting

    • Laying: staggered placement from bottom to top to prevent seamless joints; Gap between packing and tower wall ≤ 20mm

    • Fixed: Stainless steel threaded rod locking interlayer; Homework must be paved with boards, and it is strictly prohibited to step on the filling material directly

    • Direction: The corrugated guide surface is facing upwards to ensure even water distribution; Use nylon sling for lifting

    • Chemical, pharmaceutical, electroplating: acid alkali, high salt, organic solvent circulation cooling

    • Power plants, metallurgy, forging: 80-110 ℃ high-temperature turbid water cooling

    • Garbage incineration and heat treatment workshop: high temperature, oily and corrosive water quality

    • Northern cold factory area, closed high-temperature cooling tower
