Composition and Materials

Composition: It is composed of a corrosion-resistant inner lining layer with high resin content, an anti-seepage layer, a fiber-wound reinforcing layer and an outer protective layer.

Materials: Depending on the storage or transportation medium, epoxy furan resin, modified or polyester resin, phenolic resin, etc. are selected as binders, and are combined with glass fiber mat, glass fiber wound yarn, etc.

Physical properties

Lightweight and high strength: The relative density is between 1.5 and 2.0, only 1/4 to 1/5 of that of carbon steel, but the tensile strength is close to or even exceeds that of carbon steel, and the specific strength can be compared with that of high-grade alloy steel.

Good corrosion resistance: It has a good resistance to the atmosphere, water, and general concentrations of acids, alkalis, salts, as well as various oils and solvents.

Good electrical performance: It is an excellent insulating material, maintaining good dielectric properties at high frequencies and having good microwave permeability.

Good thermal performance: With a low thermal conductivity, it is an excellent insulating material. Under instantaneous ultra-high temperature conditions, it is an ideal thermal protection and ablation-resistant material.

Good designability: Various structural products can be flexibly designed according to demands, and materials can be fully selected to meet different performance requirements.

Excellent processability: The forming process can be flexibly selected according to the shape and technical requirements of the product, and the process is simple, allowing for one-time molding.
