  • Basic concept

    Cooling Tower Round Packing is a heat dissipation medium specially designed for circular counter-flow cooling towers, and is usually made of PVC, PP or other corrosion-resistant materials. Its structure is mostly corrugated plates, honeycomb grids or interlaced three-dimensional designs, with the aim of maximizing the contact area between water and gas and improving the efficiency of evaporative cooling.

    Material classification

    ◆ PVC packing: Economical and durable, suitable for normal temperature water quality (≤60℃).

    ◆ PP packing: High-temperature resistant (up to 100℃), resistant to chemical corrosion, suitable for cooling industrial wastewater.

    ◆ CPVC packing: Heat-resistant (≤90℃) and UV-resistant, suitable for long-term outdoor use.

    Core function

    ◆ High-efficiency heat dissipation: By extending the water film retention time through corrugated or honeycomb structures, the evaporative cooling effect is enhanced.

    ◆ Low wind resistance design: Optimize the airflow channel and reduce the energy consumption of the fan.

    ◆ Self-cleaning property: The structural design reduces dirt accumulation and lowers maintenance frequency.

    ◆ Power industry: Cooling of circulating water in thermal power plants and nuclear power plants.

    ◆ Chemical industry: Cooling of reaction vessels and condensers.

    ◆ Cooling tower type:

    High impurity content: Choose anti-clogging honeycomb grid packing.

    High temperature/corrosiveness: PP or CPVC materials are selected.
